The owner of the 78 acres at the corner of Ledgestone Terrace and US Hwy 290 West, Mitchel Wong, is considering leasing his land to the contractor for the Oak Hill Parkway, Colorado River Constructors, for the use as a concrete batching plant. This plant would accept debris, sort it, smash it and then mix chemicals with it to produce concrete. The 'washwater' that is generated from cleaning the trucks is extremely toxic. Trucks would run from dawn until late at night for 5 to 7 years. If you would like more information on these type of plants

Because Texas law is lax, permits are almost always approved bt Texas Commission for Environmental Quality (TCEQ). We are trying to stop this in its tracks, before the application of permits. Please email those persons in the Letter Template tab.
